It is officially a Christmas Baking Frenzy around here! My family is coming for an early visit tomorrow and between that and the cookie orders, we are cranking out yummy stuffs! Come in if you wanna smell.

Since we moved in to the new house, we now have a GARAGE. I have never been so thankful as I have been the past few days. My car was not burried from the Blizzard. It didn’t even sputter and complain when I tried to get it to turn over this morning in the -6 degree weather. It is so lovely.
It is also lovely in the shop. The place is staying toasty warm. The coffee is hot and don’t forget the pepermint mochas! Yummy. Soup today is Thai Beef.
Holy cats! I have never seen anything like this. I have been up trying to get ready to go and the power keeps going on and off. I have seen only vehicle go by in a little more than an hour and it was the plow. Yikes!

Morning all! After a nice lazy Sunday off, we are open again. I’ve got the cookies in the oven and the soup warming up and the Christmas Carols playing. I am trying to get in the spirit so I can put up the decorations in here. Looks like we could be gearing up for our first real snowfall. That should do the trick!
Matt and I put up the tree at the house last night. It was very funny because I dragged it down out of the attic, then he spent all the time hooking it up and demanding I play Christmas Carols on the piano because, “It’s keeping me from smashing this thing!” Huh. Anyway, it’s up and all but one strand of lights are working. Ornaments to be done another day.
